Bilingual Beats is an early childhood (0-5 years) bilingual music programme that integrates the learning of music and foreign language in a fun, dynamic and creative way. Founded by Claudia Ladaria and Almudena Vieitez, the methodology has been created in accordance with CLIL, which is a competence based teaching approach that is popular in European education systems and captures the idea of teaching both the subject and the language. CLIL also encourages the right interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity and communication and language abilities that are in demand by today’s employers.
After being named Virgin Startup of the week, Bilingual Beats went on to win the ‘Most Promising Startup in the UK 2015,’ by Virgin Startup Org and was one of three winners of the #MentorMeBranson competition whereby Almudena and Claudia had the opportunity to board a train with Sir Richard Branson, for a thirty minute mentoring session to discuss their business, get advice and receive the mentoring experience of a lifetime.
At present, we have classes available at 50 nurseries, preschools and venues across London. We also offer a family programme where families can join their children to share in the learning experience!
