Chair of Information Management, University of Hagen

The Chair of Business Administration and Information Management (B*IMA) at University of Hagen's Faculty of Business Administration and Economics focuses on the management of information as a central resource for value creation in the 21st century. Our mission is to drive research in this critical area and equip life-long learners with the competencies that let them thrive in a digital society. The chair currently offers distance-learning modules in Information Management, IT Governance, and Business/IT Alignment within University of Hagen's flexible degree programs. The chair is in the process of expanding its teaching to the Digital Governance and Digital Entrepreneurship fields. Our research addresses all major industries including manufacturing, service, and public sector with a special focus on the vibrant field of digital health. Our values are based on curiosity, ambition, and collaboration. We remain curious to address the wicked problems of our time. Our ambition is to publish and communicate our research at the highest level. We drive collaboration through international research networks and our B*IMA Freundeskreis.
