Bindal (sørsamisk: Bindaelie) er den sørligste kommunen på Helgeland i Nordland og grenser til Trøndelag i sør.
Bindal kommune har 1389 innbyggere og ligger plassert mellom regionene Ytre Namdal og Sør-Helgeland. Kommunen har ca 190 ansatte.
Bindal kommune er en innovativ og ambisiøs kommune som leverer gode tjenester. I løpet av de seneste 5 år har vi totalrenovert og utvidet Terråk skole og bygget en tilstøtende idrettshall. Vi har bygget 16 nye omsorgsboliger for ulike brukergrupper i tre ulike bygg med tilhørende kontorer og møterom. I 2022 åpnet vi vårt nye Bindal helsetun med 12 nye sykehjemsplasser, nytt produksjonskjøkken, nytt vaskeri og ny kontorfløy.
