BioMar-Tongwei is a joint venture between the Danish BioMar Group and the Chinese Tongwei Group, two of the leading suppliers of feed to aquaculture in the world, established in October 2015. The company has started the production in May 2020. The company mainly produces and sells cold-water fish, such as sturgeon (mainly in northwest, southwest, northeast and north China), rainbow trout (northwest and southwest), turbot (Bohai Bay area), large yellow croaker and rabbit fish (Fujian area) and largemouth bass (east China, southwest and Guangdong area). Basing on the front end of the industry development, BioMar-Tongwei aims to become a benchmark supplier of feed for the aquaculture industry in China.
