Led by the UK Pellet Council, Biomass Heat Works is an industry voice dedicated to supporting rural communities that depend on wood pellets for heat. Biomass Heat Works aims to raise awareness that wood pellet heating systems are the most, and often only, sustainable and viable option for over 400,000 rural homes in the UK that are currently off the gas supply network. Support for these hard-to-heat homes would help to achieve net zero targets quicker and more cost-effectively while offering energy security and green industry jobs.
The UK Pellet Council represent the interests of the UK wood pellet sector and provides guidance for consumers on the use of pellets for heat. All our wood pellets are fully certified to an EN Plus A1 standard.
