BMES Society SBU is a chapter of the Biomedical Engineering Society dedicated towards proving biomedical engineers with the tools they need to succeed both on campus and off.
We are a diverse student body involved in multiple tasks in serving Stony Brook University’s biomedical engineering population such as fundraising for biomedical causes, running academic workshops such as Auto-CAD, MATLAB, Arduino, etc, promoting interest in biomedical engineering and STEM-related fields at local schools on Long Island, as well as academic and professional development. Our main hope is to promote biomedical engineering to students currently attending the university as well as on the way to aid their full-rounded development and positively impact their experience on campus through our many helpful resources.
