Short impact description
The diagnostic device will allow the assessment of semen in terms of its ability to fertilize an oocyte, as well as the in vitro selection of the best sperm, using their biological characteristics. Two applications: diagnostic (% of sperm without DNA damage with normal movement capable of fertilization compared to sperm from the primary ejaculate) and therapeutic (use of selected sperm for in vitro fertilization). Approximately 17.5% of the adult population (1 in 6 people worldwide) experience infertility. Potential reach: 25,000 couples (Poland) to 500.000 couples in Europe per year.
