About Biosolutions
The University of Copenhagen was founded in 1479 and today has 37,000 students and 10,000 employees – of whom more than 5,000 are researchers – and revenues of DKK 9.4 billion. So far, 10 Nobel Prizes have been awarded to researchers at the University. The new MSc program in Biosolutions has been developed in a joint effort between University of Copenhagen and the Biosolutions sector in Denmark, and it has been placed in the Biotech City in Kalundborg campus because there is a growing need for competences within biosolutions in the industry. This also means that you, as student, will get to experience our world-leading biotech industry. The MSc in Biosolutions is a two-year program that trains you to work with the development of sustainable biological production of foods, biomaterials, biologicals, and environmental technologies related to these productions. With a master’s degree in Biosolutions, you will acquire solid competences within sustainable solutions and technologies for bio-based products of the future. Competences that are in high demand in both Kalundborg, Denmark and internationally.
