BISCHOFF, Analysentechnik und -geräte GmbH (internationally known as BISCHOFF Chromatography) was founded in 1980 by Klaus Bischoff as a Service Company doing Refill of used HPLC-Columns. It is our aim to deliver user- and applicationfriendly products of high quality and lifetime which are manufactured with modern technology to reduce costs and lead to reliable solutions. In addition we feel responsible as innovative High-Tech-Company to save resources, improve environmental protection and to dramatically decrease environmental pollution by optimizing separation processes with miniaturisation of instruments at the same time. Due to that reasons the worldwide unique offer for Refill of HPLC-Columns was quickly accepted by customers.
Since every bulk media manufacturer is using his own column-hardware already in 1981 the universal HYPERCHROME column-system was developed. This unique system offers the possibility, to use the column as cartridge as well as conventional separation column. Several in the market available bulk media of different manufacturers are offered in uniform hardware. Within a very short time BISCHOFF Chromatography advanced through its liability in technique, quality and performance to one of the leading column manufacturers in Germany and Europe.
Beside the instrument development and the continous improvement of applied HPLC-methods BISCHOFF Chromatography always developed, mostly in cooperation with universities, new stationary phases or implemented already available phases into marketable products. Intensive research and long-standing experience with silica gels which were available in the market, resulted in our ultrapure silicagel ProntoSIL, which is the base for the production of high quality stationary phases. Packed with our proven packing technology these phases are processed into high performance columns which are setting new benchmarks in the world of HPLC.
