Bjørøya har siden oppstarten i 1982 tatt del i utviklingen av havbruksnæringen. En ung vekstnæring som fiskeoppdrett møter stadig nye utfordringer. Bjørøya har alltid sett fremover og søkt etter ny kunnskap og nye løsninger. Derfor har vi i dag i tillegg til våre 7 ordinære konsesjoner også to store FOU prosjekter Cyclus og Freshnet der vi håper å kunne utvikle mer bærekraftig og effektiv drift for hele bransjen.
