The origin of the term “black sheep” is negative in nature and is traditionally a reference to an unwanted abnormality within a social structure; a pariah. Black Sheep Sports Performance is making a positive spin on the term. With 34% of U.S. adults overweight, 27% of U.S. adults obese, and most states with an inactivity rate of over 18.8 percent, we look at our whole-of-body approach to fitness and a healthy lifestyle as a bit of a societal abnormality.
Our mission is to take our years of education and experience in the fitness, and competitive sports industries to create a challenging, fun, welcoming environment that helps reduce the above numbers. Top athletes and sports teams will become elite in their field through the non-traditional training methodologies. Timid athlete newbies will quickly learn the benefits of a well-programmed, high-intensity regime of functional movements. Essentially, everyone becomes better tomorrow than they are today.
