For Long Format, Bladeworks has acquired leading reality series like Survivor and Holiday Swap because of the top notch technology used to simplify workflow. Most recently, our facility created a hub using the ISIS in which 60 terabytes of footage was made available for the six Avid offline suites to be linked to work concurrently. Furthermore we pride on surrounding ourselves with complimentary reputable companies so that a series or a commercial team can benefit from a one stop shop. From experienced Technical DITS onset to wrangle all data requirements to being able to grade on superior baselight suites, finishing off with award winning audio companies who mix with 5.1 surround sound and compose music, right up to delivering in high res HD broadcast ready material, everything is done in one place. Overall, Bladeworks believes that the support structures surrounding the core online team is what delivers a perfect end product so we keep our eye on every part of the work flow. Not only do we have excellent Dit Services via BladeDit, but also retain a dynamic VT team backed up by the best HD hardware. We continually develop our data and cloud servers in order to retain quality of storing ones product securely, short-term and long-term. Bladeworks’ postproduction services includes Film Scanning, Baselight colour grading, Flame, After Effects, Nuke, Combustion, 2D & 3D generation, storyboarding and research, as well as a full range of copies, archival and broadcast material solutions.
