Blankie Books began as a response to COVID-19 and the “stay at home” effect on families, especially regarding children’s education and their social development.
Our mission is to foster language, literacy and social skills among kids of ages 3-8 during quarantine through online story time.
Using Zoom, our student volunteers host weekly meetings to read exciting books to kids while encouraging them to share their thoughts and ideas with each other.
