The BC Research Lab (BCRL) is a consortium of collaborating academic researchers and education institutions, offering their knowledge and professional analysis to the new economic paradigm distributed ledger technologies (DLT) and the Blockchain will help shape.
The Lab will also focus on several other technologies, as it aims to broaden the scope of research and include all 4th Industrial Revolution (4IR) technologies. The blockchain is a powerful tool that can help develop solutions to current challenges but it is only a part of a larger toolbox that encompasses all other modern impact technologies, such as AI, IoT, nano and biotech, for example.
The constantly growing number of blockchain, cryptocurrency and 4IR start-ups as well as the interest from national and international institutions and governments are and will increasingly be developing R&D activities for their products and solutions.
The BCRL seeks to bridge the gap between the private sector and Academia in a mutually beneficial partnership by offering multi-disciplinary expertise to clients and retributed hands-on experience for students.
