Na bij verschillende bloembinderijen en organisaties gewerkt te hebben in het westen van Nederland zijn Marry en René Lindhout in 1996 Bloembinderij Lindhout in het mooie centrum van Bennekom begonnen. Het team dat in 1996 bestond uit henzelf en één medewerker is inmiddels uitgegroeid tot 12 enthousiastelingen die iedere dag de mooiste creaties maken en de bloemen en planten in de regio bezorgen. In 2023 is Bas Lindhout in de winkel gekomen en wordt er naast de verkoop van bloemen en planten ook gericht op projecten zoals kantoor- en huisbeplanting. Door samenwerkingen met verschillende partners is daardoor het gekste wat betreft beplanting mogelijk geworden!
Sinds 2021 is de bloemenwinkel ook gecertificeerd met het duurzaamheidskeurmerk Barometer Duurzame Bloemist waardoor minimaal 30% van de ingekochten bloemen en planten een MPS A keurmerk of hoger heeft.
