Our founding team is made up of four American Montessori Society Certified Teachers and one Montessori Mom. As teachers, we have over 50 years of combined classroom experience (mostly in a Montessori classroom)
Our school’s mission has three parts to it:
- The first part is to cultivate conscious minds and to nurture social and emotional development.
- The second part of our mission is to create a diverse school environment, inclusive of families and staff with varied socio-economic means and cultural backgrounds. We believe that every child has a right to high-quality childcare and that there is a growing gap between the quality of Montessori and access to it. Part of our mission is to reduce that gap!
- The final part of our school’s mission is to foster a real, authentic community amongst our families and teachers, and in the greater community in the area.
