Every year in February, the Bucerius Law School in Hamburg sends four of its students to the biggest mediation competition in the world - the ICC Commercial Mediation Competition. In this competition, over 60 teams from universities all over the world negotiate commercial cases together with professional mediators. The ICC International Commercial Mediation Competition is organised by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
The Bucerius Team also organises its own Bucerius Mediation Competition by BODENHEIMER and welcomes more than 20 universities from all over the world in Hamburg. The competition is held in November.
The team also engages in other mediation and negotiation competitions such as the Transatlantic Negotiation Competition and the CDRC IBA-VIAC Mediation and Negotiation Competition.
