Stichting BLUE Carbon Credits houdt zich vooral bezig met de aanplant, bescherming en behoud van mangrovebossen in de republiek Guinee in West-Afrika (voormalig Frans-Guinee). Stichting blue CC heeft door exclusieve afspraken met de overheid van Guinee de rechten verkregen om voor bijna 60 hectare aan mangroven te mogen planten. Voorwaarde is dat een groot deel van de opbrengsten uit Carbon Credits terugvloeien naar de lokale bevolking
