University of Blue Nile (UOBN) has established in accordance with the resolutions and goals of higher education revolution in May 1995 to be the University of Blue Nile State, and in the same year, 1995 has been configured Council of the League of symbols, dignitaries and leaders of the state and in the first meeting, according to the requirements of the mandate and priorities of the Council decided to establish the following college :-
