Blue Owl Events Ltd. have evolved from a lengthy history of policing events including large festivals, sporting events, demonstrations and ceremonial events, such as the Olympic Torch Relay and Royal visits. This has included intensive licensing procedures, and operating at Silver and Bronze Command levels in both planning and execution phases.
Now in private practice, we are building a growing portfolio of advising event organisers on pre-event planning, licensing challenges and on-site event management. This includes operating as ELT Manager, Incident Response Manager, Safeguarding Lead and Security Auditor. We also work with Local Authorities who own licensed premises, in order to provide them with an independent assessment of their policies and plans. We are particularly adept in dealing with tricky negotiations, be it licensing processes, agency costs or local resident concerns.
We provide representation at Safety Advisory Groups and Licensing Committee hearings. We are also practiced in providing counter terrorism advice and mitigation implementation.
Our event portfolio includes music festivals, sporting and other public events.
We provide advice to commercial businesses on protest management including; risk assessment, tactical options, asset protection and protestor negotiations.
