Blue Tiger Networks

Founded in 1999 and based in San Francisco, California, Blue Tiger Networks, Inc., developed peer-to-peer based e-marketplace software solutions. The company’s products included DynaTrade, a Java-based software used to set up and manage networks of information within a company and between a company and its suppliers and customers; and PriceStreamer, which was aimed at participants in online auction marketplaces. Blue Tiger Networks also provided infrastructure and tools to support consumer-to-consumer e-commerce. In July 2001, Blue Tiger Networks was acquired by OpenWebs Corporation of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, which developed and implemented industry-specific, peer-to-peer trading communities among manufacturers, distributors and retailers. In May 2002, CarParts Technologies Inc., a provider of open, e-commerce software solutions for the automotive aftermarket, purchased OpenWebs Corp.
