I am a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner, Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and Provisionally Certified Disordered Gambling Counselor. I have worked as a mental health and substance abuse counselor for the past 5 years. I have worked in a variety of settings including: residential care, intensive outpatient, and outpatient care serving adults who struggle with both mental health and substance abuse.
I am part of a blended family that includes my husband, step daughter, son and daughter. As a family we enjoy camping, fostering kittens, and learning survival skills such as starting a fire without matches or starting fluid. Personally, my hobbies include collecting rock and roll albums from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s, sewing and gardening.
I am passionate about the work I do and I am honored when invited to help guide, support, and share in your journey. I believe that my enthusiasm for my work contributes enormously to the progress that my clients make. I am a therapist that can be straight-forward but kind at the same time.
