BIAM Model School & College Overview

BIAM Model School & College started its journey in January 2004. Very conveniently situated in New Eskaton area at the heart of the city, housed in a ten storied building, it aims at providing quality education in English version. As a part of the project taken by the government to establish 11 Model School & College in different parts of the country, a ten storied building was built and named as Eskaton Model School & College. Being situated at the premises of BIAM Foundation, the authority of the institution was taken over by Bangladesh Institute of Administration and Management Foundation (BIAM) and the name was changed as BIAM Model School & College, Dhaka. Later, all the other Model Schools & Colleges were taken in the revenue sector by the government except BIAM Model School & College, Dhaka and BIAM Model School & College, Bogra. The administration of the institution is autonomous in character. The institution is run under a competent and highly powerful governing body headed by the Director General of BIAM Foundation. It’s a self financing institution. BIAM Model School and College, Dhaka follows the Curriculum of NCTB from classes VI-XII in English Version. Medium of instruction at the secondary level (Class VI to Class X) is English and at the higher secondary (HSC) level the medium of instruction is both Bangla and English.
