San Antonio Abad Cooperative was founded back in 1947, which means we have generations of wine-growing experience behind us. We use state-of-the-art technology in our wine-making processes, paying careful attention to every single detail along the way. Our wines have won awards in prestigious international competitions as Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, Wine Challenge, Bacchus, Vinovita, etc.
Our vineyards total over 4,500 hn, located 720 metres above the sea, enjoying a continental climate with Mediterranean influences, meaning hard winters and hot summers. This climate provides us the best conditions for harvesting healthy fruit with high polyphenolic levels, where our native variety, Bobal, thrives in unison with our famous Tempranillo, Syrah and Macabeo varieties.
