Boekhandel Scheltema biedt een zeer ruim aanbod aan nieuwe en tweedehands boeken. Met meer dan 3200 vierkante meter hebben wij ruimte voor maar liefst 135.000 titels. Onze 47 medewerkers delen gezamenlijk zo'n vijfhonderd jaar aan ervaring en kennis. Naast Nederlandstalig werk, verkopen wij eveneens Engelse, Spaanse, Italiaanse en Duitse literatuur. Met honderden evenementen op jaarlijkse basis, streeft Scheltema ernaar een rol als culturele ontmoetingsplek in Amsterdam te vervullen.
