Boltex is a vertically integrated manufacturer of quality carbon and alloy steel forgings ranging in weight from 1 lb. to over 11,000 lbs. Boltex has a wide range of forging capability for very small parts at 60 pieces per minute up to the largest closed die forgings imaginable on our 1400 kJ Counterblow hammer. The counterblow hammer provides a maximum forming energy of 1,400 kJ (equivalent to the force of a 54,000-ton forging press) and will forge parts up to 10,000 lb and up to 15.4 feet long.
