BOSS Mission - BASTET is a student-led space exploration mission developed for the Space Mission and Systems Design 2021 course at the Polytechnic of Turin.
We're a group of 13 aerospace engineering students from all over Italy, united by a passion for space, looking forward to taking you with us on a new adventure around Bennu.
Mission Statement:
“To develop a deep space mission to characterize Bennu asteroid’s topography, composition and environment in order to improve the knowledge about the early Solar System and contribute to planetary defence studies.
To demonstrate small satellites technologies in deep space, developing a mother-daughter configuration in the context of OSIRIS-REx mission to provide a wide spectrum of integrated high-quality data for the scientific community"
