BreakFree is a youth-led social initiative committed to empowering disadvantaged communities—especially children and women—through education, digital literacy, sustainable income generation, and AI-driven solutions.
This vision was born from a pivotal childhood experience: at just 10 years old, I saw a boy my age selling goods on the streets of Adigrat, Ethiopia, late into the night. His reality contrasted starkly with my own. That moment planted the seed for what would become BreakFree.
The ongoing civil war in Tigray deepened my resolve. Witnessing firsthand the pain and displacement inflicted on innocent children and women has fueled my lifelong commitment to breaking cycles of exploitation and poverty.
While BreakFree is still in its early stages, I am determined to grow this initiative into a force for change—one that uplifts, educates, and empowers vulnerable communities to build better futures.
