Bree's Blessings, Inc. Overview

We provide opportunities for pediatric cancer patients to further their interests in music/art as a method of coping with their diagnosis and treatments. It is our hope that we can lessen the pain and anxiety levels that often accompany a cancer diagnosis. We serve kids receiving active treatments (chemo, radiation, BMT) for childhood cancer in Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio. We were created by Bree Brown who died from childhood cancer (Ewing Sarcoma) in 2018. When she came home on Hospice she sat down and told us what she wanted her legacy to be. When she died, we collected donations in lieu of flowers. We haven't stopped since. We work very hard at keeping Bree's memory alive and honoring her in the way she deserves to be - by helping other children fighting cancer. We provide one time wish gifts, Blessings Boxes mailed to the child's home every 2 months, painted portraits for children that are on end-of-life care or have recently passed, and a new program called Crafty Corner that will feature various craft demonstrations via video for our children to watch anywhere.
