As climate change is chasing coffee up the mountains, most coffee farms here won't farm coffee by 2050. Therefore we have set ourself the goal 'To future proof coffee farms for a possible future without coffee'. With three distinct steps to reach that goal:
Phase 1: making farms self-sufficient, changing the way to market the coffee to provide a higher income for all farms we work with
Phase 2: focus on improvement of environment/soil and farmworkers inclusion
Phase 3: diversify and/or transition farms to new purpose based on built up economic, ecologic and human capital
