DSW Bridge Houghton Forensic is an independent specialist accountancy practice with offices in Daresbury and Leeds, providing forensic accounting support to the legal profession. The Practice is staffed by ex Big 4 Chartered Accountants who have real world experience to augment a focus on the numbers. The Partners have experience working as Expert Witness for Appellant and Respondent as Court Appointed Single Joint Expert in the Family Court, High Court and Tier 1 Tax Tribunal. Our Senior Partner has been appointed to the ICAEW Presidents Appointment Panel for Expert Determination.
David Houghton worked within a major law firm, which has provided great insight into what lawyers require from a forensic expert which influenced the way the Practice provides its services. In addition to larger discrete projects, we work alongside solicitors and barristers on an as required basis, providing assistance on a specific financial element of any matter: there are no minimum fee levels and all assignments can be provided on a capped fee basis.
