BRIDGE Sweden is creating a platform to bridge the gap between expertise and research infrastructures in Sweden, supporting the development and commercialization of biological products. Its goal is to strengthen Swedish life science and advance the next phase of biological product development.
This is done in collaboration between SciLifeLab's Drug Development and Discovery (DDD) platform, Testa Center, Lund Stem Cell Center and pre-GMP Facility at Lund University, KI Innovations, LU Innovation, UU Innovation and STUNS.
Four projects have been selected to pilot the platform. These are “Antibody Therapy Targeting CD93 for Treatment of Brain Tumors” by Anna Dimberg (UU), “Advancing Radiotheranostics for Solid Tumors” by Thuy A. Tran (KI), “In Vivo Gene Therapy for Glioblastoma” by Johan Bengzon and Henrik Ahlenius (LU) and “Development of an Improved IL-1 Inhibitor for Chronic Autoinflammatory Conditions” by Buzzard Pharmaceuticals.
Furthermore, open activities will be organized to share knowledge and insights on development of biological products.
