Brilliant Bamboo is a not-for-profit and social enterprise organisation formed in Aug 2023 following two years of enquiry with partners in Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffs with regional, national and international partners to explore if bamboo is a sustainable material (for the future) what does that mean for the UK and places like ours, and what is the opportunity for residents and communities to be involved in making with materials and considering why we build places and communities, and what we hope for the future.
We are on a mission to create projects that see people co-develop exciting designs, interest in sustainable materials and develop skills and engagement with artists, environment and the future. We do this through working with a range of partners from artists, academics, engineers, community members, businesses and anyone else with a shared interest.
