The British Asian Cancer Charity (BACC) is a national, registered not-for-profit working to close the cancer care gap for underrepresented communities — with a particular focus on British Asians across England.
We tackle cancer inequalities through education, engagement, and system change. From prevention to research participation, our work spans the full cancer pathway — ensuring that cultural, social, and structural barriers don’t stand in the way of equitable care.
BACC is a recognised voice in NHS–AI–cancer conversations, engaging with national and regional partners on how digital health, genomics, diagnostics, and data platforms to help shape equitable cancer services.
Our work sits at the intersection of population health, NHS digital transformation, neighbourhood care, health equity, and lived experience. We collaborate across sectors to ensure that no group is excluded from prevention, diagnosis, treatment, or clinical research.
