In 1998, our first office was a cramped space with purple carpeting that we sublet from another lawyer. The reception area also served as the copy room and as the office of our sole employee, who acted as the receptionist, secretary, paralegal, and file-clerk. That employee is still here. We built Brown | Gould | Kiely by adhering to a simple philosophy of hiring good, smart people who share our vision of becoming one of the preeminent boutique civil litigation firms in the region. A measure of our success is the fact that virtually all of our clients are referred to us by either fellow members of the bar or former clients.
