Brücke Le Pont promotes the improvement of working and living conditions of people in Africa and Latin America and thus contributes to overcoming poverty and to achieving sustainable development.
With our «Decent Work» programme, consisting of some 30 projects, we improve structural framework conditions to enable people to strengthen their professional skills, claim their labour and human rights and earn a living wage. We also provide emergency aid in humanitarian crises where our partner organisations and the target population are directly affected.
We are a politically and religiously independent development cooperation organisation with more than 60 years of experience. In Switzerland, we promote understanding of global interrelations and development issues through information and campaigns. In doing so, we strengthen global solidarity.
