The mission of the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office is to protect all people by aggressively and successfully prosecuting criminal activity in Bucks County while engaging in community-based crime prevention programs.
The District Attorney’s Office has a staff of more than 100 dedicated prosecutors, detectives, and support staff. In addition to investigating and prosecuting crime, the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office supports several countywide public safety community measures, which include drug diversion and treatment initiatives, mental health court, Crimewatch, the Ben’s Campaign free gunlock distribution initiative, the DUI taskforce and the Drug Strike Force, and the local DNA database.
Additionally, the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office features the premier summer internship program in the Philadelphia area for law students. Every summer the office hires second-year law students to work as Certified Legal Interns as well as first-year law students.
