Budapest Medical Students’ Association (BMSA) is a non-governmental, non-profit medical student organization based at Semmelweis University. BMSA was founded on three main principles: preventive medicine, charity, and international student exchanges.
We believe that in order to have a healthy society, it is important to focus on primary prevention. Our main goal is to improve the health-literacy and health-consciousness of the Hungarian population.
As members of the International Federation of Medical Students' Associations (IFMSA) we are working in accordance with their vision: "A world in which all medical students unite for global health and are equipped with the knowledge, skills and values to take on health leadership roles locally and globally."
As part of our international activity, we are also members of the European Medical Students' Association (EMSA).
