Building Bridges is an education organization established in 2022 that aims to bridge the knowledge gap on the history of settler colonialism, Indigenous history, and rights to mobilize non-Indigenous youth to take action through social entrepreneurship. Its youth program is composed of a 12-week curriculum that blends community engagement with hands-on interactive learning to redefine traditional educational paradigms, focusing on grassroots historical perspectives. Through the emphasis of bottom-up approaches to understanding history and primary skills to translate knowledge into social action, this program fosters the creation of a generation of active allies and politically aware youth. Building Bridges has also recently launched a Technology & Education Department as well as a Community Programming Department.
