BURCA was founded in 2024 by Dr. Nazif BURCA as a result of more than 34 years of accumulated knowledge and experience in the fields of internal audit, internal controls, corporate risk management, corporate governance, fraud, finance, and accounting.
Our story dates back to 1990, when we were first introduced to auditing as a Trainee Accounting Controller at the Ministry of Finance following our graduation from the School of Political Science (Mektebi Mülkiye). Throughout this journey, the experiences gained in leading institutions and organizations in our country in the areas of internal audit, internal controls, corporate risk management, corporate governance, and fraud have formed the foundation of BURCA.
The purpose of BURCA's establishment is to create and effectively implement internal audit, internal control, risk management, and corporate governance mechanisms that add value to businesses. By ensuring the proper design and implementation of these mechanisms, we provide solutions that help our clients minimize their risks, increase efficiency, and guide their employees. Additionally, we aim to enhance the competencies of auditors and other personnel working in internal audit, internal control, and management units by addressing their training needs.
