In 1987, Anthony S. Burkhart purchased the Field Insurance agency from Mr. Gene Field. In January 1988, the agency became the Burkhart Insurance Agency.
Founded in 1958, the agency was located at 19 South 3rd Street in Vincennes from 1969 until 1993. In the Fall of 1993, the agency expanded and relocated to 1600 Willow Street, Vincennes. In 2006, the agency moved to its current location at 16 North 1st Street in historic downtown Vincennes.
With agents based in Vincennes, Terre Haute, and Washington, Indiana as well as Bridgeport, Illinois, our once small office is now a highly automated, professional insurance center focused on serving you.
