Burma Task Force Canada was established to address the deteriorating circumstances faced by the Rohingya people in Myanmar. The goal of the Burma Task Force is to help bring an end to the genocide of Rohingya people as well as alleviate oppression against other ethnic groups in the country. The organization stands in opposition to government policies that restrict basic rights such as marriage, travel, education, and others. Burma Task Force Canada aims to promote the acceptance of the Rohingya people within Myanmar currently being persecuted by their government.
