Founded in 2019 by four Bronx-based independent filmmakers, Bronx Film 48 is a community initiative dedicated to elevating filmmaking and cinema culture in the borough. We host networking events, film screenings, and an annual 48-hour film challenge. We are also aiming to bring an independent cinema center to the Bronx by 2025. Our work has been featured by WPIX Pix 11 News, News 12 The Bronx, BronxNet, Norwood News, the Mott Haven Herald, and the Bronx Times.
