Creativity has always guided the work of Céline Robert. It is rooted in a family cultural tradition based on the skills, handcraft and passion that have been handed down since 1905.
Céline Robert graduated from the Paris Beaux Arts school in sculpture, but has always been interested in fashion. To shape her seasonal collections, she decided her methods would be art-based. In this way she has been able to combine contemporary art and research into line, volume and sociological meaning.
In 2011, the company was awarded the label of Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Company) from France’s Ministry of Economy, Industry and Employment for the excellence of its craftsmanship and industrial skills. The award is made to companies working in areas with high added value and that maintain their production in France. As ambassadors for the spirit and skills involved in products “Made in France”, they are part of the French cultural exception worldwide.
