Cactus technology will revolutionize ear exams. About half of all ear infections are misdiagnosed making ear infection the leading cause of unnecessary antibiotic use in children. In a clinical study conducted in collaboration with CHOC Children's Specialists, Cactus technology was 98% accurate and worked in both clean and waxy ears. Cactus is focused on development of a clinical otoscope for use by Pediatricians, Family, and ENT Physicians. Cactus will follow with a home diagnostic built into an in-ear thermometer.
