CADQAS CIC Overview

Cancer Diagnostic Quality Assurance Services (CADQAS CIC) is a non-profit community interest company dedicated to enhancing the accuracy and reliability of on-slide cancer diagnostic tests. Our mission is to advance the field of histopathology through cutting-edge research and training, facilitating the integration of high-quality biomarkers and promoting best practices across the global histopathology community. We provide digital interpretive proficiency tests for biomarkers associated with lung, breast, and colorectal cancers. Our current offerings include Her-2 (IHC & Dual ISH), PD-L1, ALK, ROS1, and MMR IHC, with additional tests being introduced regularly. These proficiency tests are freely available through our website (https://cadqas.org). Join your colleagues - we have participants from over 60 countries worldwide! In addition, we support laboratories around the world by providing practical assistance with the setup and implementation of new slide-based diagnostic tests, ensuring they are smoothly integrated into existing workflows. CADQAS CIC had its roots in a collaboration between UK NEQAS ICC&ISH, Dorset County Hospital and Roche Diagnostics. We founded CADQAS CIC in 2014, when we moved the work out of the hospital. We are now based in Poundbury Cancer Institute (PCI), alongside our histopathology colleagues, and work together with them and our Industry partners to achieve our mission.
