The California Actuarial League was founded in February 1998 by students of the UC Berkeley Statistics Department in order to promote actuarial science at the University of California, Berkeley. Cal Actuarial League is open only to registered students, faculty, and staff at UC Berkeley, and it is voluntary and non-profit in nature. As a pre-professional student organization here at UC Berkeley, we aim to provide our members with all the resources they need to become an actuary.
