Deerkill Day Camp, celebrating its 58th season, is a very popular camp option among local families. This 3rd-generation family-owned and -operated camp is located on a beautiful wooded 15-acre site and brings a smaller community feel to the summer camp experience for campers age 3 through 15. The diverse program features superb professional swim instruction in large heated pools and includes an array of athletics on fields for younger and older children, creative and performing arts such as crafts, ceramics, woodworking, dance, theater, and photo and video, as well as specialties such as martial arts, archery, gymnastics, computers, cooking and nature. Deerkill offers daily transportation on mini air-conditioned buses with professional drivers and bus counselors. The Owners/Directors are on the grounds everyday and accessible by phone day and night and all the individual group leaders are adults, most of whom are teachers. Tuition includes transportation, hot lunch, towels, trips and access to the free family pool club every Saturday and Sunday from Noon to 5 throughout the summer. Deerkill does not allow tipping.
