Campania ageing population poses new challenges such as the need to switch from acute and reactive care to a proactive approach to health and to the integrated management of multiple chronic diseases, with the aim of reducing dependency and disability. Innovative, ICT-supported solutions conjugated with change management can speed up the process of change and improve the sustainability of Campania social and health system.
The vision of Campania Reference Site of the European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing is stimulating and supporting the set-up of a local ecosystem to face the challenge of an ageing population with a lifecourse approach, where innovations are exploited to improve health outcomes, quality of life and sustainability of social and health services. Ageing brings a dynamic of growth linked to the opportunities of conjugating the silver economy with local resources, such as age-friendly tourist services.
EIPonAHA Campania RS focuses on connecting innovations with its stakeholders in all domains of active and healthy ageing, and acknowledges the relevance of building collaborations in an international and open environment, where experiences, tools and expertise can be shared and exchanged.
Campania RS focuses also on a thematic dominions, and the Health and Wellness is one of these and it’s strongly related with an active aging strategy and with a coherent life stile
Our ambition is connecting innovations with endusers by:
• Increasing health equity by improving sustainability through change management strategies and large scale adoption of ICT supported services;
• Promoting Health and disease prevention;
• Transfering biomedical and technological innovations to the market through the EIP on AHA and innovative procurements;
• Stimulating multidisciplinary and multi-actor collaborations
• Using the opportunity to improve the inclusive and social impact of the European project interested the foreign citizens.
