Cantina Albea was established in the early 1900s and was entirely built of stone with wine tanks carved into the rock, like the cisterns formerly meant for water storage in the "trulli". It is one of the oldest and most appreciated wineries of the area. It offers a meaningful example of how new concept production facilities can be combined with classic structures, which are still the most suitable ones to hold and obtain noble wines.
